Reverse Osmosis (RO) filters should be replaced every 6 to 9 months.  The cost of the filters can be significant, but add to that the cost to hire some one to replace them for you, it can quickly add up to a significant expense.

In this video, I am going to show you how to change the RO filters on a quick release and quarter turn RO System.  The replacement is a quick and easy process and should not intimidate you from trying this replacement yourself.

After Filters are Changed

  1.  Turn on RO Faucet until water runs clear
  2. If there is a valve on the tank, open the valve and let the water run until it becomes a trickle
  3. Shut off the RO faucet and allow the system to recharge for 2 to 3 hours
  4. After 2 – 3 hours, turn on the RO faucet and drain the system to flush out any contaminates
