Cable Spool Projects make a great Recycled Furniture Project! We have made a few pieces of furniture using wooden spools as Christmas gifts! They were a hit!
These spools are typically used by the power company or utility company and come in various sizes. The one we used for this nightstand or end table was 24″. This one made a great Cable Reel End Table.
We found our spool top from a contractor friend who does work with our local power company. You may be able to find spools on Craigslist, there were a few to choose from in our area.
